Holy Convocation Sunday
Worshiping Together Worldwide
Bishop Dr. Gabriel E. McCurtis, Pastor
First Lady Deborah McCurtis
A Message from Our Pastor and First Lady
Grace and peace, Unity family and friends around the world! First Lady Deborah and I greet you in the holy name of Jesus Christ.
This Sunday, November 8, we will join our worldwide Church of God in Christ family for the National Holy Convocation Official Day service. There will be no regular Unity online service. I am asking as many of you as possible to join us from your homes as our Presiding Bishop, Bishop J. Drew Sheard, brings the Word of God.
I will participate from home in my bishop’s robe, and Elder Norman Alsuph will also participate in clergy attire. Wherever you are, prepare your heart for worship, gather your family, and let us receive what the Lord has for His Church.
Our fellowship extends across cities, nations, and generations. Invite someone to worship with you, and let us continue to glorify God, edify believers, and evangelize the world.
With love and prayers,
Bishop Dr. Gabriel E. McCurtis
and First Lady Deborah McCurtis

Weekly Encouragement: One Church, Many Homes
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”
Psalm 133:1 — KJV
Distance does not prevent us from sharing in worship. Let us come with grateful hearts, pray for one another, and listen with an expectation that God will strengthen His people.
After the service, discuss one truth you heard and one way you can put it into practice this week.
This Week: Put Your Faith into Practice
James 2:17 reminds us that living faith produces action. Carry the encouragement of worship into your home, your relationships, and your community.
Pray for someone. Encourage someone. Invite someone to connect with Unity.
Help a family member or friend who needs assistance opening the service on a phone, tablet, or computer so they can participate in worship.
Prayer Focus for the Week
Pray for our Presiding Bishop and national leaders, the ministry of the Holy Convocation, salvation and spiritual renewal, families and young people, healing for the sick, comfort for those who grieve, and those carrying the Gospel around the world.
Remember our Unity family, caregivers, seniors, and everyone who needs strength and encouragement.
Let us pray: Father, unite our hearts in Your love. Bless Your Word as it goes forth, strengthen Your servants, and draw people of every generation to Jesus Christ. Help us live what we hear and serve with willing hearts. In Jesus’ name, amen.
